The Brief:
This year marks the 3rd year we have delivered the Fan Hospitality Experience on behalf of Hoag Health Systems at the Hoag Classic, where year on year we look to elevate all areas as much as possible to deliver an exclusive & premium experience. The focus for the space this year was to showcase Hoag and their technical capabilities & services as a leader in healthcare in California.
The Process:
With a continuing focus on delivering a high-quality brand experience that captured the Hoag brand and their service offerings, we were keen to utilise some of the new structure inventory to house some of the activations & touchpoints. The main objective from the design and user journey was to expose fans to the Hoag brand and their creativity & abilities through technology.
The Result:
Fan Hospitality Experience: An immersive and unique hospitality experience, tailored to the Hoag brand with key themes and messaging throughout the area. With the inclusion of various physical & digital touchpoints, fans enjoyed the full Hoag, golf and California experience!
Foliage Wall: Including an LED Screen for branded content & wooden panelling with the ‘Hoag’ logo, this was a standout feature within the space and great for brand awareness!
Long Putt: A fan favourite at any golf event, our bespoke long putt was themed around Newport Beach and Balboa Pier where fans had to putt down the pier over the beach and water to hole the putt at the end of the pier, where the Ferris wheel was!
Table Tennis: Positioned against the stunning backdrop of our Hoag foliage wall, fans could take some time to play table tennis with friends and family.
Putting Simulator: Housed within the XPO6 structure, fans could test their putting skills on the 18th green at Newport Beach Country Club.
Chipping Challenge: Accessible for fans of all ages & abilities, our skeeball chipping challenge was housed within the XPO10 structure with a virtual leader board.
Photo Opp: Signifying California as Orange County, our team designed a bespoke photo opp where fans stood on an orange platform which included the Hoag logo. A great souvenir for fans to take from the event, housed within the XPO6 structure!
It was a pleasure working with the Hoag team to deliver the Fan Hospitality Experience once again, that showcases our continuous evolution of our full-service event capabilities and the scale we can fulfil. We welcomed over 5,000 fans through the Hoag Experience across the three days with over 400 photos taken! Our US teams have done a fantastic job over the past 3 years to consistently deliver an unforgettable brand experience, firmly positioning Hoag as a title sponsor to remember in the world of golf!
